Our client needed to replace their leaking shower and update an outdated bathroom to modernize and get use out of a dormant unusable space.
The pain points:
- The shower pan and walls were done improperly by the previous homeowner causing leaking and many of the tiles were loose or spongy.
- Shower door, tub access pannel, and large mirror were outdated
- The shower faucet and vanity faucets had leaks
The solution:
- We took the shower down to the studs, removed incorrectly installed pan liner and 2 layers of drywall
- Installed new shower rough in valve, full Schluter waterproofing system in the shower that carries a lifetime warranty on Materials and Labor
- Installed new 12x24 tile, matching Schluter corner trim, rain glass shower door, fixed leaks in vanity, built new tub access pannel and framed the mirror to update.
